Leaving a legacy

Creating a will benefits your family and friends and can also help people in need.

Leaving a gift to Thames Reach in your will ensures your generosity lasts beyond your lifetime and supports a cause that you care about.

Reducing your Inheritance Tax bill by giving to charity

You can reduce your Inheritance Tax bill by giving to charity. From 6 April 2012, if you leave 10 per cent of your estate to charity the inheritance tax due may be paid at a reduced rate of 36 per cent instead of 40 per cent.

Existing will holders

If you have already made a will, you can amend it to make a bequest to Thames Reach by adding a codicil. This is an amendment which must be signed and witnessed like a will.
