Joanna Lumley joined Thames Reach supporters earlier this month to talk about her life’s work and the inspiring causes she supports, and to raise money for London’s homeless people.

She appeared onstage at the Magic Circle Theatre in Euston, alongside three formerly homeless people, whose lives had been transformed thanks to the innovative support services provided by Thames Reach staff and volunteers.

Jeremy Swain, Thames Reach Chief Executive, who also joined her on stage, said: “It was inspirational to hear from the people using our services about how they have transformed their lives.

“A big thank you to Joanna, a long-time friend of Thames Reach, for giving up her time to tell us about the key events in her life, and all the wonderful charity work she has been involved in.”

Joanna said: “These astonishingly brave people have pulled themselves up by their bootstraps, while benefiting from the tailored solutions Thames Reach provided to the problems they faced.”
