Property developers St William recently showed their support for Thames Reach's work to end street homelessness, with staff members raising funds through bake sales and volunteering with the charity’s London Street Rescue outreach service.

Employees at the firm, part of the Berkeley Group, recently raised £744.35 through a number of bake sales.

In addition to their culinary fundraising activities, St William staff have also been volunteering on London Street Rescue shifts, going out at night across the capital to help Thames Reach outreach workers get people off the streets and into accommodation.

Milton Bevan, Thames Reach’s fundraising manager, said: “A big thank you to all the staff at St William for their creativity and fundraising efforts in support of Thames Reach.

“Their generosity enables us to help vulnerable men and women to leave the street, and to sustain their tenancies and rebuild their lives through our education, training, volunteering and employment programmes.”

Farouk Campbell, the volunteer coordinator for London Street Rescue, added: “We greatly appreciate it when people want to volunteer and become directly involved in our work to end street homelessness.”
