Thames Reach welcomes new leadership on homelessness

We welcome the appointment of the new Minister of homelessness and Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government

We welcome the appointment of Alison McGovern as the new Minister with responsibility for homelessness, and Steve Reed as Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government.

These appointments come at an important moment, with a new cross-governmental Homelessness Strategy expected in the coming months. We look forward to seeing the priorities that will shape this strategy and the opportunities it will create to make meaningful progress towards ending rough sleeping alongside other forms of homelessness.
