Thames Reach hosts Employee and Volunteer Conference 2025

Colleagues and volunteers came together for a day of learning, connection and celebration

The biennial Thames Reach Employee and Volunteer Conference took place on Thursday 16 October at Friends House in Euston, bringing together colleagues and volunteers from across the organisation for a day of learning, discussion and connection.

The event featured a wide range of sessions, including an introductory talk from Stephen Howard, Chair of the Board of Trustees, and Bill Tidnam, Chief Executive, as well as a Q&A session with members of the Senior Management Team. Attendees also had the opportunity to take part in interactive workshops, wellbeing sessions, and talks led by sector leaders.

A highlight of the day was a session on The Mayor’s Rough Sleeping Plan of Action, delivered by guest speaker Molly Bishop from the Greater London Authority.

The conference was also an opportunity to celebrate the dedication and achievements of Thames Reach colleagues, with awards presented for long and outstanding service.
