The Greenhouse is an award – winning partnership service between Thames Reach, The London Borough of Hackney and the NHS. Staff provide housing advice, and support to single homeless people in Hackney. It is an innovative preventative model that works with within the Homeless Reduction Act

We are recruiting for an Assistant Support worker who will be the first contact point for people accessing the service, completing initial assessments and managing the reception area.

The successful candidate will have:

– A good understanding of the issues affecting rough sleepers and    vulnerably housed people including the housing options available for them.

– An ability to prioritise workload in a busy environment

-Strong communication skills.
