Nobody should have to sleep rough on the streets
Last year, more than 11,000 people experienced the harsh reality of sleeping rough in London.
Sleeping on the streets inflicts lasting trauma and can be incredibly dangerous. The longer people stay there, the harder it becomes for them to rebuild their lives.
Those who sleep rough often face additional challenges and carry the burden of significant past traumas. Research has shown they are twice as likely to experience mental health issues, and, on average, face a higher risk of dying young.
At Thames Reach, we are committed to end rough sleeping in London.
