Our volunteering opportunities give employees the chance to see our work first-hand, develop new skills and strengthen teamwork while making a direct difference to people sleeping rough or at risk of homelessness.
Man Group, a global investment management firm, has transformed the garden at our supported housing project in Greenwich which provides accommodation for vulnerable people, including those with mental health needs. The team spent a day transforming the garden before returning throughout the year to maintain it. Colleagues have also delivered CV workshops, helping residents build confidence and prepare for employment.
Together, these activities help people build the confidence, skills and stability needed to move towards independent lives.
One resident recently remarked: “Thank you so much – I feel more positive about getting into work than I have done for years.”
