At Thames Reach we are driven and committed to helping homeless and vulnerable people to live in decent homes, build supportive relationships and lead fulfilling lives. Our vision is to end street homelessness and our aim is to achieve the highest standards and effectiveness in service delivery to vulnerable people.

We are looking for an organised, motivated and engaged Lead Manager for the STAR project. STAR is delivered in partnership with Shelter, St Mungo’s and EASL and is funded by London Council to focus on large and small hotspots as well as to work with vulnerable females and provide prevention and intervention activities through a range of partners. Commissioned to work across all 33 London boroughs, this service provides additional outreach assistance to existing provisions.

This is a great opportunity for a manager with some experience to move into busy, exciting frontline services vital to efforts to reduce rough sleeping across London.

You will be responsible for directly managing staff as well as performance against targets. You will complete monitoring and reporting to funders on performance against targets. This will require you to be outcome focused and able to foster a culture of high performance and continual striving to improve upon successes throughout your team. You will also ensure that this complex and dispersed service is well managed financially.
You will have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to quickly establish dynamic and flexible working relationships with other services. You will be confident managing a service that works with the most complex clients.

Thames Reach is committed to achieving a diverse workforce that reflects the communities we serve. We value, respect, and celebrate diversity. We welcome and encourage applicants from all sections of the community regardless of their history of homelessness, sex, race, disability, age, sexual orientation, or religious belief.
