Job Title:  Lead Worker (Housing Specialist Worker)

Salary: Grade D £29,796 – £32,001 incl ILW & 6.5% employer & 1.5% employee contributory pension
Hours:   Full time 37.5 per week

We are currently looking for a housing specialist worker to work within the Lambeth Integrated Personalised Support Alliance, an alliance of organisations working together to better support people with mental health issues living in supported settings.

The role will involve; identifying move-on options within supported and independent housing, working with people with mental health issues to access suitable identified accommodation, and building links with private rented landlords & other accommodation providers.

To join us you will need:

– Ability to work quickly and have strong networking and relationship building skills.

-Have knowledge and understanding of the barriers faced by people with mental health issues.

-Experience of working in partnership with external agencies and health & social care professionals.

-A good understanding of social support needs including the difficulties of social exclusion and housing issues.

-Be able to work closely with landlords and housing providers.

This role will be based in Lambeth and you will be required to work across the borough.
