Assistant Support Worker – Grade A £22,857 per annum
Support Worker – Grade B £24,618 per annum
Lead Worker – Grade D £29,010 per annum
Inclusive of ILW & 6.5% non contributory pension
Hours: 37.5 per week
Location: Across all London Boroughs

At Thames Reach we are committed to helping homeless and vulnerable people to live in decent homes, build supportive relationships and lead fulfilling lives. Our vision is to end street homelessness and our aim is to achieve the highest standards and effectiveness in service delivery to vulnerable people.
Thames Reach are expanding our London Street Rescue service – a key element of the GLA’s response to rough sleeping. In order to expand the team we are recruiting to fill a variety of posts covering all London boroughs.
We have posts available for those with all levels of experience and knowledge, from those new to the sector to experienced case workers:
• Assistant support worker – This role would suit people with no experience of working in homelessness but some transferrable skills. This a fast-pace role working at night, in a vehicle looking for new rough sleepers and supporting those we find to immediately access emergency accommodation.
• Support worker – You will be motivating and supporting rough sleepers to carry out planned tasks that will enable them to move into and maintain accommodation. The majority of this work will be carried out during the day.
• Lead workers – You will be working with longer term complex rough sleepers to put together and deliver a multi-disciplinary plan to support them into accommodation. You will work closely with local authorities and accommodation providers. Applicants to these posts will need to have relevant experience and knowledge.
You will play a key role in the development of this service and your work will contribute to influencing the future of service provision across the UK. All posts will a level of flexible working.
