Peter Davey
Board Member

After graduating as an economist, Peter started out in marketing in the chemicals industry. Squatting in the mid-1970s awakened an enduring interest in housing, and he changed careers to pursue this interest in 1980. He has four decades experience in the sector, first working with single homeless people as Operations Manager for St Mungos and as Director of Arlington House, then as a senior manager covering social housing. He then worked as a consultant to local authorities and housing associations. Peter has extensive experience as a board member and trustee, and is the founder of two housing associations: one catering to young homeless LGBT+, the other for HIV+ people.
