The Greenhouse provides healthcare, welfare support and housing advice for homeless people and people at risk of homelessness in Hackney. Staff from Thames Reach, the local authority and the NHS work together under one roof.

This is an opportunity to join the team working to prevent homelessness and end rough sleeping in Hackney.

The Green House provides housing advice, and support to single homeless people in Hackney. It is an innovative preventative model that works within the Homeless Reduction Act of 2018.
We are looking for a Receptionist to work at our busy Green House Centre in Hackney. You will be the first point of contact for people accessing the service, setting up housing appointments, managing the reception area, working closely with Hackney Service Centre and a range of external services.
The successful candidate will have:
-A good understanding of the issues affecting rough sleepers and vulnerably housed people including the housing options available for them.
-An ability to prioritise and organise their workload in a busy environment.
-Competent at using computer and software packages / managing multiple data base
-Strong communication skills
-Responsive and flexible to the needs of the team and the clients.
-Enjoy working in a fast paced environment and be comfortable juggling multiple priorities
