What you need to know about leaving a gift

    Legacy gifts are vital in helping us plan for the future. 

    Even a small percentage of your estate can make a big impact.

    Your gift will ensure that long after you’re gone, people experiencing homelessness can rebuild their lives. 

  • How your gift will help

    Your legacy could: 

    • Provide a safe place to sleep for someone rough sleeping. 
    • Fund outreach teams working directly on the streets. 
    • Support people to overcome mental health and substance use issues. 
    • Help individuals into employment and independent living. 

  • What kind of gift can I leave? 

    • A share of your estate (a residuary gift): After other gifts and expenses, you can leave a percentage of what’s left. 
    • A specific amount (a pecuniary gift): A fixed sum of money. 
    • A specific item such as property, shares or valuables.
