Job Title: Support Worker
Salary: Grade B £25,833 – £26,772 incl ILW & 6.5% employer contributory pension
Hours: Full time 37.5 per week

We are looking for a Support worker to work in the STAR partnership. STAR is a pan London service funded by London councils.
You’ll be assertive and persistent, able to give difficult messages and still get positive outcomes for our clients.
You will be responsible for assisting rough sleepers to leave the streets by supporting them to access affordable housing and regular employment. You will also work with clients who are housed but as risk of eviction. You will work alongside partner agencies such as Shelter, Stonewall housing and St Mungo’s.
An ability to identify partners and establish and maintain effective working relationships with these will be key to the success of this project.
-Excellent communication and creative problem solving skills enabling you to create options for people to access employment and housing.
-Excellent interpersonal skills and commitment to work with rough sleepers and those Vulnerably-housed.
-The flexibility to work late and early shifts as required
-The enthusiasm and ability to manage a case load of clients.
-An ability to work both autonomously and within the team; ensure health and safety requirements are followed and manage risk to ensure the safety of all parties involved.
