Thames Reach is hosting a free volunteer recruitment event

Volunteer your time, skills and expertise

Thames Reach is hosting a free volunteer recruitment event for our Sustaining Tenancies Accommodation and Resettlement (STAR) team. The event will be held on Wednesday 20th March at Brewbird café in Camberwell from 2pm-6pm.

Thames Reach are a London based charity working with those who are homeless and, or have been sleeping rough. This is a great opportunity to come along and find out more about volunteering and working with our STAR team.

Every night STAR work with vulnerable people, to help them move away from the streets, and offer direct support to those with poor mental health, drug or alcohol issues, or those who are at risk of losing their tenancy.

Thames Reach workers and volunteers can also provide people with opportunities to access training and employment, helping people move away from homelessness.

To get involved with our work, come along to this event to learn more about how you can support people. There is no sign up required and it’s completely free to attend, so feel free to bring your friends. Tea, coffee and refreshments will be provided.

Brewbird is located just around the corner from Thames Reach’s Employment Academy. For information on how to find Brewbird, just click here.

If you would like more information about this event, then please contact Kelly Stanton at Kelly.stanton@thamesreach.org.uk or call on 07484054277.

We look forward to seeing you there.
