Events hire

The Employment Academy has served the local community since 1904, and we are proud to open it up to couples on their happy day. Three rooms, including the historic Lecture Room, are licensed to host weddings, accommodating up to 100 guests.

The money we raise by hiring out our spaces for weddings and other functions goes directly to funding our services, allowing us to keep advice and courses open and free for anyone.

In the summer, the fully enclosed Mediterranean-inspired courtyard is available for hire as well.

Refreshments and food are provided by the on-site Brewbird Café, a social enterprise working to reduce crime by providing opportunities for training and employment.
