Lambeth IPSA

Providing the right intervention at the right time can help people avoid repeated crises and hospital admissions.

The Lambeth Integrated Personalised Support Alliance (IPSA) is an alliance of organisations in Lambeth that helps to transform the lives of people with serious long-term mental health issues.

It offers people who currently go into long-term, expensive hospital rehabilitation wards or registered care homes the chance to live more independently in the community.

Offering personalised care and support, the IPSA provides early intervention, before someone gets into repeated crisis, allowing individuals to make choices about the support they receive and then linking them in with the right services in the community.

Support staff help people develop relationships with friends and families, become more engaged in their community, and support people in finding voluntary work or working towards employment.

The IPSA is comprised of Thames Reach, Certitude, South London and Maudsley (SLaM) NHS Foundation Trust, Lambeth Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), and Lambeth Council.
